When the house is on fire, one cannot just sit brooding, we need to act swiftly to fight the fire and douse it. In this deadly second wave of Covid 19, many people are suffering from this pandemic and are not getting beds/oxygen in the hospitals. So, it is prudent for the social organizations to find solutions. Some social organizations in Nagpur have come forward to create a temporary facility of providing medical help to the needy in the boys hostel building of Nagarjuna Training Institute, Nagpur. A team of doctors, paramedics and other health care staff are thus inducted to treat the patients. Facilities set up include OPD and admissions desk in the center. A 25 bed health care unit with and without oxygen beds at affordable fee including free treatment to extremely poor people has been made operational. Possibilities of further expansion are also being contemplated with the help of common people and charitable organizations.
