Ms. Shruti Vikas Nikhade, a bright student from Ghuggus, a small village in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, hails from a financially weak family. She has secured a full scholarship from the Government of Maharashtra to pursue her postgraduate studies at Edinburgh University, UK. To meet her initial expenses such as air ticket and visa, she approached HMF for support.

Her case was discussed in the Executive Body Meeting on 27th July 2025, where members unanimously approved financial assistance of Rs. 50,000/-. Ms. Nikhade has also assured repayment to HMF. Accordingly, a cheque of Rs. 50,000 was handed over to her by HMF President, Ayu. Milind Bahadure, on 14th August 2025.
