The Bahujan Hitay Girls Hostel is managed and operated by a dedicated team of Dhammacharis and Dhammacharinis from TBM. Though the hostel has a capacity of 80, due to financial constraints, it is currently housing only 24 girls. It is important to note that the hostel was not operational during the 2023-24 period and has not yet received any funding from the Maharashtra State Social Welfare Department. The girls, mostly from SC, ST, and OBC communities in rural areas, are in grades 6 to 10 and come from economically disadvantaged families. They receive free accommodation, meals, and coaching, along with a conducive environment for academic success.

The hostel management reached out to HMF for financial support to better care for these girls. In response, members of the Human Metta Foundation were called upon to contribute to this noble cause, with 25 members committing to a total monthly donation of Rs. 25,000/-. The first cheque of Rs. 25,000/- was handed over to Dh. Rutayush for the month of December 2024 on December 1, 2024.
