HUMAN METTA FOUNDATION

Jhan Bhumi, Buddhist Monastery and Vipassana Meditation Centre , at Chaparda in Yawatmal district of Maharashtra in 120 acres of picturesque land is being developed by venerable Bhante Dr Mitra Bodhi Ashok. Bhante is a qualified doctor with MBBS, MD degrees. Apart from his full devotion to Buddha and his Dhamma, he continues his professional work of treating poor patients without any fee.

In its pursuit to contribute towards environment , Human Metta Foundation has taken one more step, by arranging for Sapling plantation, which is carried our every year by HMF. This year, Jhan Bhumi is found to be the right place for this purpose. Around 40 assorted saplings of fruit bearing, flowering and shady varieties like Peepal, Banyan, Rain, Mango, Bael, Kadamba, Copper Pod, Gulmohar, Pride Of India have been planted on 03/07/2021 in presence of Bhante Dr Mitra Bodhi Ashok and Ayu.
